Eek the Cat Videos
|
 |
In the United States only one VHS tape was released, containing two 30 minute episodes: Hawaii-EEK 50 and Catsanova.
Occasionally you can find these on Amazon, or more
frequently on eBay. Have to be patient though.

Things were a lot different in Europe. There were at least
TWO Eek the Cat DVD's released in 2004, and we were lucky enough to get
both of them. Its in PAL format which means it won't play in your DVD
player in the USA, but it plays great in the computer. It is NOT in
English. Each DVD has four episodes, and each of these episodes appears in
three different languages, making 12 files per disk. Its interesting to
watch Eek in a different language, but without those unique voices, it
just isn't the same. It was distributed by Joan Kids, and I have not been
able to find out anything about other DVDs listed on the inside covers.

Special thanks to Alexander Gustofson for not only finding
these DVDs, but making sure that the Museum gets a copy for its archives!
Thanks Alexander!
Be sure to visit the newly established Fan
Art site located elsewhere in the museum, as it has an excellent
example of Fan Art from Alexander. It was just to cool to keep to
ourselves! |
